Despite its simplicity, Find the Markers is possibly one of the most fun pick-up-and-play experiences on the entire Roblox platform. Not only is it a joy trying to track down all those pesky markers, but the places you’ll find them are usually pretty wacky. If you’re here, though, you’re likely curious as to how to get the Runner marker in Find the Markers. Without further ado, then, let’s let started.
Find the Markers – How to Get the Runner Marker
Before we begin, it’s worth noting that the Runner marker is categorised as a Hard difficulty marker. Its hint reads as follows: “Difficulty dimension. Walk 1000 studs.” Here’s how to find the Runner marker:
- From spawn, head to the Mountain biome and climb up the ladder.
- Enter the mountain, and turn left into this cave pictured below.
- Inside, you’ll find a giant keyboard. Type: “DIFFICULTY” and then press enter.
- Next, you’ll be teleported to a new area called the Difficulty dimension, which is basically one giant obby.
It’s really hard and takes quite a few tries to complete. Be patient, and you’ll overcome this challenge. Once you’ve finished the obby, you’ll be awarded with the Runner marker in all its glory.

While Find the Markers may seem like just another scavenger-hunt-style experience, it actually offers quite an intricate map, with more than a handful of challenging secrets to find. Inside the Difficulty Dimension, there are five markers for players to discover, including the one we’ll cover in this brief guide, Runner Marker.
Once you’ve spawned into Find the Markers, head toward the forest area of the map and approach its large mountain.
At the bottom of this mountain is a makeshift wooden ladder—climb it and enter the cave it leads to.
As you walk into this cave, you should notice a dark tunnel with two lanterns at the start of it.
Upon walking into this tunnel, you will enter a secret room that features a wall of letters. To continue toward the Killbrick Marker, click on the letters D, I, F, F, I, C, U, L, T, and Y, in that order, to spell the world DIFFICULTY, and then click on the Enter button. If you entered the code correctly, you will automatically be teleported to the Difficulty Dimension.
To obtain the Runner Marker, players must reach the difficulty level of the Difficulty Dimension’s obby. To get started, walk and jump your way through the easy level to reach medium.

To survive medium, you’ll need to jump across a set of slippery tiles and reach the platform above. If you slide off and fall to your death, you will be restarted at the beginning of the easy level, so be careful! Once you’ve made it to the start of the challenging level, hop across the small gap and onto the first ledge in front of you.
Now, jump out and up from this ledge to reach the next one and repeat this strategy until you’re at the top of the wall.
From here, jump over the glowing killbrick, out and around the small walls, and to the start of the hard level.
Similar to the medium level, the hard level uses a slick base for its first obstacle, making it hard to avoid the glowing killbrick squares as you attempt to jump between them. To complete this obstacle easily, we’d recommend running and jumping through it in one quick motion rather than trying to jump and stop repeatedly. If you can pick up a solid momentum, you should be able to run and jump between the squares without hitting any of them.
Once you reach the end of the first obstacle, you’ll immediately be faced with the second, which requires you to jump and latch onto a horizontal ladder and slide your way to a small platform on your left. Though the experience says otherwise, using shift lock isn’t required—if you find that just turning your camera and moving to the left is easier than using shift lock, that can totally work too.

To reach this small platform, either climb down the ladder using the downward movement key or press the Spacebar to jump off. Then, simply walk across the thin bridge to reach the entrance of the difficult level.
Unlike the other level entrances, notice that the difficulty level’s arch features an extra square of studs to the right of it.
Hop onto this square to be teleported to Runner Marker’s location.
Before you can claim Runner Marker, you’ll need to walk down the long path in front of you.
Waiting for you at the end of this path is the Runner Marker.
To add this marker to your Markerdex, simply walk up and touch it. Upon doing so, you should receive the pop up and badge pictured below!

To find Oil Marker, players are required to get inside the factory and head towards the Assembly Line. Plaid Marker
To get Plaid Marker unlocked, you will have to get inside the Pe Olde Shop. Once you are in, climb the stairs take a left turn and go inside the box. There, you will the Plaid Marker.
Glitch Marker
Unlike Markers, getting your hands on the Glitch Marker is a bit difficult. All you need to do is jump to the sky and wait until you landed on a surface. Once landed, you will have to get to another end of the place. Once you have successfully reached another end of the place, you will find the Glitch Marker.
Catzo Marker
To get this Marker unlocked, you will have to type ‘e laugh into the chatbox. When you do so, you will find yourself in a Yellow room that contains Catzo Marker. You simply need to approach it to unlock it.
Xanwood Marker
To find Xanwood Marker, you will have to go towards the left side of Pe Olde Shope and keep walking until the end of the Black block as shown in the above picture. When you reach the shown location, you will fall down and find Xanwood next to you.
Fishbowl Marker
Unlocking Fishbowl Marker is pretty easy. All you need to do is head to the home shown in the above picture and take a left turn. Once you get inside the home, you will find the Marker on the table.
Cloud Marker
After obtaining the Fishbowl Marker, take a U-turn and head towards the Chimney. Once you spawn above the Chimney, walk carefully in the Cloud and head to the location shown in the above picture. Once you get there, you will find the Cloud Marker.
Stormy Marker
After unlocking the Cloud Marker, you will have to take the right turn and follow the path that leads to the place shown in the above picture. When you get there, you will find the Stormy Marker.
Runner Marker
Unlocking Runner Marker will take a bit of your time. Once you see the Keyboard shown in the above picture, you will have to spell ‘DIFFICULTY’ and then hit the Enter button. When you do so, you will get teleported to another location where you will have to play a game in Medium and Hard difficulty. Once completed, you will have it unlocked.
Cough Drop
To find Cough Drop in Find The Markers, you will have to go to the place where this Keyboard is located. Once you get there, spell HILL ROCK thrice and hit the Enter button. Doing this will get you the Cough Drop.
Washable Kingdom
To find Washable Kingdom Marker in Find The Marker is too simple. All you need to do is locate the building shown in the above picture and climb it until you approach the Watch.
Periwinkle Marker
Periwinkle Marker is a Marker that you will unlock in no time. After obtaining the Washable Kingdom marker, you will be taken to a new place. There, you will find the Periwinkle Marker.
Lilypad Marker
Once you have successfully obtained the Periwinkle Marker, you will have to take the right turn and head to the location shown in the above picture. When you get there, you see a Lilypad flower on which you will have to jump. Doing this will take you to a place where you find the Lilypad Marker.
Bioluminescent Marker
To find Bioluminescent Marker, you will have to head to the location shown in the above picture. Once you get there, you will have to head five illuminating Mushrooms one by one. Make sure to follow the sequence that we have mentioned in the below picture. You will have to tap on Large (1), mid-sized (2), large (3), large (4) and small (5) Mushrooms.
Bluish Gray Marker
Bluish Gray is a marker that can’t easily be obtained. It is located at the same place where you find the Bioluminescent Marker. Once you reach the location, you will have to climb the tree marked as Number 1. Once you are on the top of Tree 1, you will have to follow the path as shown in the above picture. Once you reach tree number 5, you will get the Bluish Gray Marker in Find The Markers.
Archer Marker
Once you reach the location shown in the above picture, you will have to head to the right side of the building. When you get there, you will find the Archer Marker there.
Torcher Marker
Once you have found the Archer Marker, you will have to go towards the path shown in the above picture. When you reach the end of this path, you will find a hollow chamber where you will get the Torcher Marker.
Dragon Marker
After obtaining the Archer Marker, you will have to go towards the left side and take a jump. When you landed on the surface, take a left turn to find the Dragon Marker.
Wizard Marker
Once you get to the location, you will have to get inside the building through the main door showing the above picture. As soon as the staircase appears, you will have to get into it to find the Wizard Marker. Yes, this Marker is located below the Staircase.
King Marker
Once you have obtained the Wizard Marker, you will have to go towards the right side of the building. There, you will find the Chair of the King. When you approach the chair, you will have King Marker unlocked.
Knight Marker
Knight Marker is also located in the same building but you will have to go upstairs to find it. When you go upstairs, you will find a room shown in the above picture that contains a stair leading to the Knight Marker.
Glided Marker
Glided Marker is located in the same building where you will find Knight, King and Wizard Marker. When you go upstairs, you will have to go towards the room located on the left side and then take stairs to reach its top portion. There, you will have to jump and get inside through the window as shown in the above picture. When you get there, you will find the Glided Marker there.
Mud Marker
Mud Marker is located where you will find the Periwinkle Marker. All you need to do is locate and head to the place shown in the above picture. When you get there, you will have the Mud Marker unlocked.
Firefly Marker
Firefly Marker is located at a place where you have found the Mud Marker. Once found the Mud Marker, take a left turn and jump on the circle highlighted in the below picture and then take another jump to the tree where Firefly Marker is located.
