Описание
Кабина пилота (англ. Cockpit) — одно из самых интересных мест на острове. Эта часть самолета отпала еще при падении. Сначала находилась вблизи центра полуострова, но была перенесена в обновлении v1.0 в горную местность.
Геймплей
Если идти вдоль горы, то можно найти по пути две палатки, а если идти с другой стороны то ничего не будет (старые версии). Начиная с релиза, к кабине нужно пробираться через горную местность.
Для игрока кабина пилота — очень неплохая находка. Внутри можно найти двух мертвых пилотов, рядом с одним будет лежать Сигнальный пистолет.

Мелочи
- Логотип авиакомпании, ранее использовавшийся на кабине, был таким же, как и на хвостовой части самолета, и это логотип немецкой авиакомпании Lufthansa.
- Места спауна кабины часто менялись после обновлений.
- После обновления 0.18 кабина спавнилась в одном месте — на острове, в озере, посередине карты.
- Изменено местонахождение в версии 1.0. Зимняя локация.

The Cockpit is the missing front of the crashed plane in which you spawn. It was added in update v0.18 to The Forest. It was moved in update v1.0 to the mountain area.
Gameplay
Inside the old Cockpit you could see one of the dead pilots laying over the controls. Located near the cockpit was the co-pilot sitting in a chair and there is a flare gun behind him on a seat. In the new version the copilot is in the cockpit and the pilot was thrown through the front window.

- The airline logo previously used on the cockpit was the same as the one on the tail plane, and it’s the logo of the German airline Lufthansa.
