Доброго времени суток, столкнулся с проблемой, которую решить самостоятельно не получилось. Пробовал 2 варианта. Скачивать лаунчер с сайта и внедрять его в папку с игрой, и второй — скачал полный клиент сируса.
Итог 1: Лаунчер выдает ошибку «your internet connection seems to be not permitted or dropped out«. На этом установка заканчивается.
Второе: Игра запускается через файл «NoLauncherStart«, однако, проведя в игра 2-3 минуты, дисконектит в окно ввода логин-пароля.

Приветствую. Откройте Internet Explorer > «Сервис» > «Свойства обозревателя» > перейдите во вкладку «Дополнительно» > установите галочку на «Использовать TLS 1.2» > нажмите Retry в окне Inetc plug-in > Дождитесь окончания установки лаунчера

Извините, можно сделать это через другой браузер, так как с запуском эксплорера возникают некоторые проблемы. Можно это сделать через яндекс, или только через iexplorer?

Только через Internet Explorer. Какие у Вас с ним проблемы?

Его просто нет. Скачиваю его 11 версию. После установки он пишет либо что стоит уже более поздняя версия, либо перезапустить компьютер. При этом ярлык на рабочем столе отсутствует и через поиск его не ищет. Перезапускал ПК, его так же просто нет. ОС W10.

Он принудительно делает TLS протокол в качестве «дефолтного» в системе.
Возможно опять надо перезагрузить комп после этого.

Скачал фикс, вот что получается в процессе установки. На этом процесс завершается.

Странно Что же это за Виндоуз у вас?

Пробуйте ручную установку лаунчера, по совету Vemo отсюда
1) Закройте лаунчер;
2) Удалите папки лаунчера:

C:UsersИМЯПОЛЬЗОВАТЕЛЯAppDataLocalsirus-open-launcher-updater

Что делать, если папка AppData невидимая?

3) Скачайте SirusLauncher-1.2.18.exe и архив с файлами лаунчера для подходящий разрядности ОС:

4) Разместите два скачанных файла в директорию с игрой (где находятся ярлыки NoLauncherStart и START);
5) Отключитесь от сети Интернет;
6) Запустите скачанный файл SirusLauncher-1.2.18.exe от имени администратора и дождитесь окончания установки;
7) Включите Интернет, проверьте работоспособность лаунчера, в настройках укажите путь к папке с игрой.

Все запустилось, загрузилось, могу играть. Спасибо вам большое, свою работу вы выполнили на 100%!

Here it is a solution to the first 3 most common issues:

Installation error: “Your internet connection seems to be not permitted or dropped out”

Cause: This error may occur when your computer Operating System is not up to date or your computer date is wrong. Another reason may be that your internet provider is blocking the connection towards github.com which is where the installation files are hosted.

Solution:
Use the offline installer: barcode-to-pc-server.offline-installer.zip
This way the installer will read the installation files directly from your hard disk.

The app says “Unable to connect error”

Cause: If it’s the first time that you’re connecting the app, it may be due to your Firewall and/or Antivirus that may be block the server connection.

Solution: Add the Barcode to PC server executable to the exceptions list of both the Firewall and Antivirus:

For the Firewall see here: How to configure the Firewall
For the Antivirus we don’t have any tutorial since the procedure is different for each antivirus, but if you’re having issues connecting the app try to temporarily pause all Antivirus software and when you finally identify what was blocking the server, add it to the exceptions list.

The app doesn’t find the server

Cause: The app isn’t connected to the same network of the server or the server isn’t able to announce the service over the local network.

Solution:
Go through this checklist:

Make you sure that the smartphone Wi-Fi is enabled
Make you sure that computer and smartphone are under the same LAN network
Check Firewall and Antivirus as explained above
Try to pair the app with the QR Code:
1. Open the server
2. Click on the 3-dots menu icon (up-right side)
3. Click Info, and the connect QR Code should appear
4. Open the app
5. Open the menu and tap “Select server”
6. Tap the scan icon [ ] and scan the QR Code displayed on your computer

Also check your channel is not congested, and signal strength is adequate. There are freeware tools which can show you this information.

You might have to change band (frequency) — and in one scenario where someone was renting a place it was suggested the owner was restricting Wifi bandwidth…!

I’m sure others more experienced in these issues will comment.

My internet keeps dropping out!

I suggest you connect your laptop to the router with a ethernet cable. If the wired connection is stable you know that there is nothing wrong with the internet connection itself and with your LAN. Next step would be to go to the website of your laptop manufacturer and look for the latest WLAN drivers. Install them and test whether it improves the reliability of your WLAN connection. Then post back the results.

When try to install via nsis-web .exe it says:

Still happens @develar, we tried to disable firewall and anti-virus, but still get the same error.

Bringing up that this is still an issue (and one I believe I reported a while ago?)

This user reported that he has a download speed of 50kbps and a pretty bad connection…so I guess the plugin needs some upgrades to handle bad connections a bit better?

Still having users report this as a problem. Maybe there is a fix in a newer version @develar ?

I ran into this issue and it turned out to be a http/https issue. Here’s how I resolved it (for future finders):
In my package.json:

Notice the http part — for https I expect valid certificates to play a role in success/failure.

The web server had these files:

latest.7z is a copy of my latest build produced from npm run dist

Same error. My case is because of wrong time. Update windows time fix it!

I identified one possible cause my users were having…they didn’t have TLS 1.2 enabled and we force 1.2 for our HTTPS connections.

My web server is an enterprise web server with HTTPS valid certificate. The CA of this certificate is a internal CA.
Do you think this can be related to the error I have today?

Just wanted to add my +1 to this issue for nsis-web.
My coworkers and I have not come across this ourselves, however a large amount of our users are coming across this error. Unfortunately, most that have come across this are not tech savvy, and so it’s a little difficult for my team to track it down.

We’ve noticed that while we haven’t really heard of this for our North American users, our Brazilian users seem to be the ones who run into this most often, then followed by some other South American countries, and a handful elsewhere in the world.

We’ve tried to change from https to http, but that’s only fixed it for a few of our users, plenty still have this error.

It may be related to timeouts? If the connection takes too long to establish to the servers, INETC may be timing out. Which may be the issue for some of those regions, from our sparse ability to test out hypotheses, though it would need to be confirmed. Perhaps a longer timeout might help (possibly around 30s-1m?), as a waiting a bit for an install isn’t overly problematic.

I’m also not entirely sure if there’s a way for us to modify the timeout duration ourselves. If anyone knows how, it might help us better test out the timeout hypothesis.

Just to give you more information, I fixed the issue by using nsis target instead of nsis-web, with these settings:

It is more link a workaround because nsis target is not downloading the .7z package file on installation. But in the case this issue is not resolved, I hope this can help some of you.

We’ve also opted to go with nsis instead of nsis-web. However, for differential updates, this does imply that the amount to download is doubled, whereas this wasn’t an issue for nsis-web.

We’re currently programmatically separating 32 and 64bit packaging right now to generate two separate installers of nsis as a result, as by default they’re combined for a single 32/64 installer otherwise.

A solution to this nsis-web issue would be preferable.

Internet Connection not permitted

Hi.
When I run the devkitPro updater, I choose the Minimal System and devkitARM and install.
After it gets up to msys-1.0. 11-RC2.exe, it stops and a prompt comes up:

Your internet connection seems not to be permitted or dropped out!
Please reconnect and resume the installation.

I find nothing wrong with my internet connection so why is this happening?
Is there a installer that doesn’t need the internet?

There are two main things that cause this issue.

1. Some antivirus products appear to cause the download code to timeout when scanning, unfortunately all we can advise here is to temporarily disable the scanning while installing.

2. The Internet Explorer connection settings are out of date or misconfigured.

Sorry, there’s no installer that doesn’t need the internet but the current one can download files for later offline install.

you can also download the binaries from the sourceforge page, put them in the same directory as the updater and then run the updater. then it will pick the binaries that you already have downloaded instead of downloading them itself.

I noticed that AVG had blocked out the installer from using the internet but once I allowed it, it worked!

AVG strikes again, it seems.

If you accept my suggestion, I’ve found MSE to be faster, and less prone to false positives than AVG, besides being actually royalty-free (instead of just a reduced free version). Replace it as soon as you can.
